In large organizations, more than thousands of servers run, and it is impossible to run them manually; it is required for them to be automated and get the job done.
Automation is an important part of DevOps. There are numerous duties in development and the operations team that can be automated.
MEASUREMENT:
Measurement is as important as automation, the aim is to monitor and track the progress of various activities in the DevOps environment. This helps to understand how the system operates or what needs to be done to improve performance and productivity.
SHARING:
The entire team should be clear about the end goal. There should be continuous knowledge transfer sessions, and discussions with the team of what tools can be used and other areas as this can help to reduce redundant tasks and bring people of similar interests together and result in better engagement in the team. Here the people need to take ownership of the work and get it done.
